SUMMARY:ComedySportz Match @ Stratford HS
DESCRIPTION:The ComedySportz High School League® is the largest\, most successful teen improv theatre program in the United States. \nWe play improvisation as a team sport\, with two teams “competing” for audience laughs. The stage is split into 2 sides\, there’s a referee and the players are in uniform. It’s not comedy about sports; it’s comedy played as a sport. Because everyone knows what a sport is\, there is immediate buy-in from the audience. People who have never been to the theatre before walk through the door because they’re not intimidated. Because it’s improvisational\, it’s always different\, and you will have fans that come to every performance. \nJoin us and cheer on the Montgomery Team while they compete against other high schools (and sometimes each other)!

SUMMARY:Over the River and Through the Woods
DESCRIPTION:Nick Cristano may be living the life of a modern young professional in New York City\, but his loving grandparents never let him forget where he belongs: in New Jersey\, in the bosom of his tenacious\, tender-hearted\, loud\, loving\, and well-fed Italian-American grandparents\, who live two doors down from each other in Hoboken\, and who lavish all of their affection on their last unmarried grandchild. Faithfully\, Nick goes “over the river” to Grandma’s house every week for Sunday dinner. \nWhen he is offered an important promotion in Seattle\, Washington\, Nick threatens to break this routine by a distance of some 2\,800 miles! Frank\, Aida\, Emma\, and Nunzio are heartbroken at the prospect of their beloved grandson raising a family all the way across the country — or worse\, not raising a family at all! Besides the usual tactics of emotional blackmail\, in order to keep him safe at home\, these wily elders cook up a matchmaking scheme\, inviting lovely nurse Caitlin O’Hare over for Sunday dinner. \nWill the prospect of true love keep Nick from moving across the country? Over the River and Through the Woods is a warm-hearted\, boisterously funny\, and touching story about intergenerational relationships\, deep familial love\, and the inevitable little heartbreaks that occur as time passes and children grow. Joe DiPietro’s intimate family comedy featuring a mature cast is a beloved staple of theaters across the United States.

SUMMARY:26 Pebbles
DESCRIPTION:On December 14\, 2012\, Adam Lanza walked into Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed twenty-six innocence souls before taking his own life. These twenty-six innocent deaths\, like pebbles thrown into a pond\, created ripples and vibrations that were felt far beyond the initial rings. This is the story of those vibrations \nSimilar in style to The Laramie Project\, playwright Eric Ulloa conducted interviews with members of the community in Newtown and crafted them into an exploration of gun violence and a small town shaken by a horrific event. \nTimes and ticket information will be released once that information is available.
